Blue Land wants to introduce you to "Violet", BLM's RED ONE Digital Cinema camera (#104). The RED camera is capable of resolutions of up to 4K (4096x2304 pixels) effectively matching the resolution of 35mm film. Major Hollywood features are shooting on Red. Now your next project can be as well.

Cable in the Classroom developed Shakespeare: Subject to Change, a multi-media website for students and teachers celebrating the genius of William Shakespeare. CiC turned to Blue Land to produce "We Are Hamlet", a video for the site showing how The Bardʻs famous soliloquy from Hamlet still has universal appeal and connection to a diverse audience with many interpretations in the 21st century. CPB / PBS Planned Giving Campaign

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting asked BLM to develop and produce an on-air campaign for public television stations encouraging viewers to remember their local public broadcast stations in their estate planning. BLM created a series of :30 and :60 vignettes telling the stories of actual public TV donors who explain why he or she considers public broadcasting an institution worthy of their support.

Since 2000, Blue Land Media has partnered with the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts to produce Face of America: a series of scenic and performance videos capturing the natural beauty and cultural heritage of America's national parks and the unique dance they inspire.

This unique performing arts project has so far taken BLM to Yosemite, the Virgin Islands, Mammoth Cave, Kitty Hawk and the volcanoes of Hawai’i collaborating with some of the most dynamic and creative dance companies in America. This series is taped, edited, and projected in high-definition video at Wolf Trap's Filene Center in Vienna, VA.

The Foundation for the National Archives chose Blue Land to produce a short film honoring Civil War historian James McPherson for the Foundationʻs annual Records of Achievement Awards Gala. Locations included the National Archives and Antietam National Battlefield.

BLM produced a 90-minute doc for PBS' Great Performances and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts highlighting Wolf Trap's "Face of America" dance initiative, capturing the creative process as dancers are inspired by the awesome beauty and history of America's national parks.

This video excerpt is from the program segment featuring Halau O Kekuhi performing on lava fields at Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park near Hilo on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
